Sustainable Countertops

 The first photo is at a new house being constructed. All the floors and counter tops are made with the sustainable fly-ash/glass mixture.

 Here is a close up to show the beautiful mosaic of crushed glass.

 Like most counter tops and concrete, different colors are available.

 

As well as recycled glass there is a counter top available made out of recycled paper layered to increase durability.  

Here is a close up of the material used in the last counter top. You can see the layers of paper involved.
